It is very rare that there is something innovative in a video game. Admist all the financial problems in the world, there is still someone who is willing to take a chance on something new. This game has stirred up quite a bit of interest, at least within the gamming community. thatgamecompany has brought us a new game called Flower, where you actually play as a flower petal(s). Some people say this is a very Zen game, which I am inclined to disagree with, but nevertheless it is still a remarkable achievement. There is no dialogue or text that I have seen or heard, but yet the game still manages to capture me and give me some entertainment. It is truly a work of art and proof that videogames can be beautiful. The music is awesome, the visuals are beautiful, and it really is probably the most innovative game that I’ve played in a while. It is a PS3 exclusive available on the Playstation©Store for a meare $9.99USD.

It is a very rare day indeed when there is a news story about video games and how awesome they are. Usually the video game industry gets a lot of crap about violence and gets blamed for kids doing stupid things. It really amazes me how bad parenting usually gets put off as something to do with video games.
