Trash Panic

Trash Panic for the PS3 is a modernized version of Tetris. While the concept is not a bad one, the exection of it is. While I enjoy it for a few moments, I definitely would recomend saving your $5 and buying something else.
You get thrown into the game, without any real direction or instructions. It took me quite a while to even figure out that there were more controls than just the simple tetris rotation and movement. I can’t help but mention the fact that there are several annoying gameplay elements as well.
I can’t help but mention the fact that the execution of this game feels amateurish. Evidently Havok was used for this game, althought that seems like it is the highest quality item in the game. There are some “characters” that you occasionaly see but they are really just black blobs with hands and feet stuck on them. Also the music and art is so “blah” that they are barely worth mentioning.
As for good points, well the premise is a great one. There are some interesting elements and the entire way they handle overcrowding in the trash can is cool.
I can’t help but recomend that you do not buy this game, because you’ll be missing your $5 after the game quickly loses your attention.

inFamous

Released on May 26, inFamous tells the story of Cole – a messenger. I had seen many things about this game before it came out, and I wasn’t totally sure if it was going to be a good game – but I took the plunge and gave it a try. This game is worth whatever you end spending on it.
This game has all the right combination of action and RPG elements. There is XP points for upgrading powers, and it has first person action combat. The game has quite a few trophies for just doing things that you would do in any RPG such as completing a bunch of side quests.
If you enjoy any action game, and the simple RPG elements, then I would highly suggest picking up this game.
