Video Games and Obesity, Best Evidence Yet

In response to Stephenson Billings previous comments, I read an article linking obesity to video games. However, this is only the title of the article, and obesity is linked with more factors than just playing video games. After reading the article, the great conclusion was that if you sit around and play video games or watch TV there is a risk of obesity. Why? Well because these activities do not usually require a large amount of physical activity. Wow, a study to tell us the fact that sitting around doesn’t help keep you healthly. Physical activity is part of a balanced lifestyle, which should not be a suprise to anyone.
I think that this study shows something more than video games cause obesity, but rather that parents need to ensure that their children get enough excercise.
